Learn more about concrete as a building material and how contemporary measures in the industry can contribute to a more sustainable and energy-efficient future during a guided tour of the Leube cement plant and specialist presentations at the Bauakademie Salzburg.

Guided tour of the Leube cement plant:

  • 13:45 Welcome Zementwerk Leube, Gutrathbergweg 7, 5083 Grödig
  • 14:00h Plant tours in groups - you will be guided by the Leube team

Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes for the guided tour of the cement plant, you can obtain additional protective equipment from Leube.

Followed by technical presentations at the BAUAkademie Salzburg

  • "Heating, cooling, storing with concrete", BM DI DI Dr. Simon Handler on thermal component activation
  • Industry exchange and conclusion of the event with finger food and drinks
