In addition to a groundwater heat pump, the energy demand is covered by photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. In the local heating network, the BORG and the new town hall, which was built at the same time, are jointly supplied in the sense of a smart city concept. The generated electricity is used to cover the building's own needs, and any surplus is fed into the grid of the energy supplier. All relevant common rooms are ventilated by means of highly efficient heat recovery. The use of intelligent control technology, precisely tailored to the building, minimizes energy consumption while maximizing comfort. (Text: MEGATABS in shortened form)
