Sports hall Liefering

With the triple sports hall in Liefering, the city of Salzburg has a pilot project regarding Smart City Standard. As a plus-energy building, it was awarded the Klimaaktiv Gold Standard. Over the course of the year, the new sports center produces more energy than it consumes itself and can thus also supply surrounding buildings.

Das Sportzentrum. Im Erdgeschoss vollständig verglaster Eingangs-/Aufenthaltsbereich, der hell erleuchtet ist. Davor sind Fahrradstellplätze angeordnet. Auf der Länsseite des Gebäudes ist in der Mitte eine überdachte Terrasse mit Glasgeländer über der weißen Fassade angeordner. Der Himmelist durch die Abenddämerung leicht türkis gefärbt und lässt das ganze Gebäude mit seinen hellen Farben leuchten.

With the triple sports hall in Liefering, the city of Salzburg has a pilot project regarding Smart City Standard. As a plus-energy building, it was awarded the Klimaaktiv Gold Standard. Over the course of the year, the new sports center produces more energy than it consumes itself and can thus also supply surrounding buildings. 
The sports hall can be divided into three sectors and, with its dimensions of 45 m x 29.6 m and a clear height of 9 m, offers standards for many types of sport; the stands can accommodate around 300 visitors. In addition, there is a 90 m² movement room for gymnastics, yoga and dance. Office space for Salzburg's clubs and sports associations is located on the upper floor. Special attention is paid to sports for the people with disabilities: For wheelchair sports, a generous ramp leads from the foyer to the playing area.

The hall is powered and heated exclusively by solar energy and groundwater. Via a thermal solar system and the photovoltaic system, solar energy is used both for the generation of the necessary heating energy and for electricity generation. As a storage mass, the activated, 60 cm thick foundation slab ensures a constant room temperature at all times of the year. In addition, solar heat gains are achieved via the facade glazing. Due to the tightness of the building envelope and the efficient heat recovery of the ventilation systems, the sports hall does not require a conventional heating system. Additional cooling of the floor slab can be achieved in summer via a well system. (Text in shortened form: architects)

Zu sehen, das Treppenhaus. in der Mitte läuft die Treppe nach unten ins Erdgeschoss. Rechts daneben erstreckt sich eine lange Rampe ins Erdgeschos. Rechts ist eine Fensterfront mit Säulen zu sehen. Links eine Wand, die in der unteren Hälfte aus Holz besteht und oben weiß verputzt ist. An der Decke sind runde Lichte angebracht. Das Tageslicht scheint durch die Fenster herrein

Hier sieht man einen Turnraum der Halle. An einer Spielgelwand sind Holzstangen agebracht. Im Spiegel sieht man Kletterwände aus Holz. Links ist eine Fensterfront nach draußen, durch die man eine verschneite Landschaft sieht. Der Hallenboden leutet türkis durch das Tageslicht.

Zu sehen ist die Wand eines Sportraums. Daran angebracht sind Sprossenwände zum klettern. Recht sieht man eine zweietagige Fensterfront mit schwarzen Rahmen. An der Decke befinden sich große, runde Lichter. Der Hallenboden ist türkiser Hallenbelag.

Der Blick von oben in die große Sporthalle. Die Wände aus Holz, ebenso die kleine Tribüne auf der rechten Seite. Die Dachkonstruktion sind weiße Fachwerkträger. Auf dem Hallenboden sind viele Linien für Spielfelder verschiedenster Sportarten eingezeichnet.
