Office building EIGNER

At the beginning of 2020, the Nördlingen-based company EIGNER Bauunternehmung GmbH moved into its new office building in the direct vicinity of the building yard. Significantly more office space is now available on more than 1,000 m². Exposed concrete is the design element on the inside. But also on the outside, the first floor with its exposed concrete facade contrasts nicely with the three-story cube in Corten steel look above it - together they shape the modern appearance of the office building.

The centerpiece of the heating and cooling technology is the air-to-water heat pump cascade, which provides the building's heating and cooling services. The transfer of the services to the rooms was realized by approx. 1,000 m² of near-surface concrete core activation and approx. 250 m² of underfloor heating. The advantage of near-surface activated concrete core tempering is the faster response time compared to normal concrete core tempering.
