In addition to a sophisticated architecture integrated into the landscape, natural materials were used and a highly ecological building concept was implemented.

The building's heating and cooling requirements of 350,000 kWh per year are ensured by solar energy and a brine water heat pump with deep boreholes. The boreholes for the deep wells were drilled at a distance of 10 meters with a depth of about 130 meters. Surplus energy from the solar collectors is stored in the ground and made available directly to the heat pump. Due to the optimally coordinated forms of energy, Zaltech reduces CO2 emissions by - 84 % !
