Coca-Cola plant
Through environmentally friendly manual dismantling and the optimal synergy of re-use and recycling, €100,000 in sales were generated during the dismantling of the Coca-Cola plant on behalf of the building consortium of eight property developers (including ÖSW, ARWAG, Wiener Heim, GESIBA). For example, 5,000 roof panels from the Coca-Cola plant were made available for reuse on site as thermal insulation in the new building in the Biotope City Quarter. 3,000 m2 of extensive green roofs, i.e. the top soil substrate layer including the plant cover, have also been secured and are ready for use.
