The office spaces are characterized by the ceiling beams made of wood and the visible concrete ceiling, the facade by the robust masonry with window reveals made of chrome steel. Since the supporting structure of the existing buildings had only limited reserves and the floor heights were limited, the construction had to be light and the overall height of the ceiling had to be low. The structural heart of the extension is therefore a new type of hybrid floor made of wood and concrete, which elegantly solves both these problems. With an overall thickness of 42 cm, it is slim, and since the concrete layer is only 10 cm, its weight remains low.

The simple, robust building services underscore the focused approach, and the thermally activated concrete slab takes advantage of the open construction method. Pipes embedded in the concrete slabs - also created by Wagnertec itself and inserted in the concrete plant - ensure that the mass of the concrete can be used as a heat reservoir.
